Group Living & Flatmate Finders

Comcare provides a range of services assisting those who are homeless in Hospital, those in Ministry of Social Development (MSD) funded motels and those under the care of specialist mental health Services and addiction treatment providers. All services provide one on one assistance to navigate temporary and permanent housing options, and work alongside the individual to overcome barriers to obtaining and retaining housing. While some of these funded services require referral from mental health or addiction treatment providers, there are also options for other agency or self- referrals. The funded Services are:

  • Housing Facilitation (Te Whatu Ora – Health New Zealand funded)
  • Navigation (MSD funded)
  • Supported Re-Housing (Ministry of Housing and Urban Development funded)
  • AOD Housing (Te Whatu Ora – Health New Zealand)
  • Adult Inpatient Housing worker (Te Whatu Ora – Health New Zealand)
  • Complex Case Advisor (Te Whatu Ora – Health New Zealand)
